The Great Divide Install/Uninstall
Run "Setup.exe" to install. Use Control Panel Add/Remove Programs to
Uninstall.
For game play and rules, view the "Rules.txt" file, also can be
viewed from the "Choose Your Character" screen.
Game requires Windows Media Player 6.0
or higher be installed on your system.
Program tested with Windows 7, XP and 98. Does not work well in Windows Vista. Game plays best at a screen resolution of 600 X 800 or other 4:3 aspect ratios. Play on wide screen monitors is unpredictable and resolution will have to be set by the user.
Installing in Windows 7 you will get an error as the install
program tries to install a desktop shortcut. Choose to ignore
this error. Run the program in the XP-SP2 compatibility mode.
GAME RULES:
1. ENTER PLAYERS' NAMES AND CLICK THE
"START PLAYING" BUTTON. THE GAME SCREEN
WILL APPEAR.
2. CLICK ON "START" TO BEGIN GAME.
3. AN EQUATION WILL APPEAR ON A PLAYER'S
SIDE OF THE SCREEN. SOLVE THE EQUATION
BY PICKING A NUMBERED BLOCK FROM BENEATH
YOUR OPPONENT. IF CORRECT, THE BLOCK WILL
DISAPPEAR. IF WRONG YOU WILL LOSE YOUR
TURN.
4. CREATE A CRACK IN YOUR OPPONENT'S WALL
FROM TOP TO BOTTOM TO WIN. THE CRACK MUST
TRAVEL CONTINUOSLY HORIZONTALLY AND
VERTICALLY. A CRACK THAT TRAVELS UP, ACROSS
AND THEN DOWN AND ACROSS BEFORE RESUMING
AN UPWARD PATH AGAIN WILL NOT COUNT. KEEP
THIS IN MIND WHEN MAKING YOUR SELECTION.
