Installing Bullseye

Run "setup.exe" to install. Uninstall with "Add/Remove Programs" feature
of the Windows Control Panel.

Game rules available at game start.

Game requires Windows operating system and Windows Media Player 6.0 or higher.
 
Program tested with Windows 7, XP and 98. Does not work well in Windows Vista. Game plays best at a screen resolution of 600 X 800 or other 4:3 aspect ratios. Play on wide screen monitors is unpredictable and resolution will have to be set by the user.

Installing in Windows 7 you will get an error as the install
program tries to install a desktop shortcut. Choose to ignore
this error. Run the program in the XP-SP2 compatibility mode.





GAME RULES:

1. ENTER THE INITIALS OF THE TWO
   PLAYERS. CLICK "START PLAYING"
   TO BEGIN GAME. CLICK "GAME RULES"
   TO REVIEW HOW GAME IS PLAYED.

2. THE BOARD ON THE LEFT KEEPS
   TRACK OF THE SCORE.

3. THE GAME CONSISTS OF FIVE ROUNDS
   OF PLAY.

4. CLICK "START" IN THE LOWER LEFT
   CORNER TO BEGIN GAMEPLAY. THE
   BUTTON CAPTION CHANGES TO "QUIT".
   IT CAN THEN BE USED TO END OR
   RESTART THE GAME AT ANY TIME.

5. PLAYER ONE GOES FIRST. THE PLAYER
   WHOSE TURN IT IS INITIALS WILL BE
   FLASHING. THE CURRENT ROUND WILL
   ALSO BE FLASHING.

6. A NUMBER WILL APPEAR IN THE
   BULLSEYE OF THE TARGET. A PLAYER
   MUST DETERMINE THE HIGHEST SET OF
   MULTIPLIERS THAT EQUAL THIS NUMBER
   FOR THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE SCORE.
  
7. SCORE IS DETERMINED BY ADDING THE
   MULTIPLIERS TOGETHER. (EXAMPLE: A
   BULLSEYE OF "24" CAN BE CORRECTLY
   ANSWERED AS 2 x 12 OR 3 X 8. A
   CHOICE OF 2 X 12 WOULD BE A BETTER
   AS THE TOTAL SCORE WILL BE 14 AND
   3 X 8 WOULD BE A SCORE OF 11.)

8. DARTS ARE THROWN ONE A TIME. A DART
   FROM THE "RED" BLOCK MUST BE PLACED
   IN THE "RED" CIRCLE AREA OF THE
   TARGET ONLY. THE SAME HOLDS TRUE FOR
   BLUE.

9. THE RED DART IS THROWN FIRST. TO
   THROW FIRST SELECT THE DART BY
   CLICKING ON IT. MOVE YOUR MOUSE TO
   THE AREA OF THE TARGET YOU WISH TO
   HIT AND CLICK YOUR MOUSE. REPEAT
   FOR THE BLUE DART.

10.IF A VALID NUMBER IS HIT, IT
   APPEARS BELOW THE DART BOARD
   REPLACING THE "?" MARKS IN THE
   RED AND BLUE AREAS.

11.AFTER THE BLUE DART IS THROWN YOUR
   ANSWER WILL BE CALCULATED AND IF
   CORRECT YOUR SCORE WILL BE POSTED.

12.AFTER FIVE ROUNDS OF PLAY THE
   WINNER WILL BE DISPLAYED. YOU WILL
   BE GIVEN THE OPTION TO QUIT OR
   PLAY AGAIN.
   CLICK YOUR MOUSE.
